On May 4th Jaxen had his second surgery. His first one was in April, he had a clogged tear duct which they cleared out, it is doing so much better now! His second surgery was to correct a hydrocele he had. A hydrocele is where one of the testicles is surrounded by fluid, if untreated it could turn into a hernia or other complications could arise. Anyways, so here he is getting ready for surgery, they gave him some medicine to calm him down before he went back which made him so funny. He was like a drunk baby, he just kept laughing at everything and he was really wobbly, it made things easier for me because he was making me laugh! His little hospital gown was so cute, but sad at the same time.

The surgery lasted about an hour. They came and got me and took me back to him, he was pretty sad and not fully awake yet.

He drank a full cup of apple juice, and then threw it up all over me. But then he seemed to feel better, I think he was starving because he ate 4 saltine crackers, 2 graham crackers, and some jello. We were able to go home a little over an hour after the surgery. He was a little fussy the rest of the day, but was basically back to himself the next day. I'm glad both his surgeries are over, hopefully we won't have any more!

Easter in Utah

This post may be a month late, but better late than never I guess! Jaxen and I came to went to Utah for a couple of weeks at the end of March-beginning of April. So we were there for Easter. Jaxen had a cold so we didn't end up going to the Hooper Easter egg hunt, but here he is at Grandma and Grandpa Bingham's doing the hunt for prizes in the field! He got a lot of fun prizes and candy! It was fun!
