We left Heber Valley a day early to attend the dedication of a memorial in Hooper that has the names of all the people in Hooper who have served in the military, so Branden's name is on it. They began by having a parachute fly in the American flag, it was pretty cool!
They had a few different speakers and a choir, and released doves to remember fallen soldiers
Military member saluted the flag as it was retired
They released balloons as they sang America the Beautiful
Jaxen loved watching the balloons fly away!

We stayed for the fireworks, I messed with my camera a bit trying some long exposures
The fireworks were so late, and Jaxen tried to stay awake, but he fell asleep right before the finale
It was a really fun day and a great dedication!
