The 4th of July

We left Heber Valley a day early to attend the dedication of a memorial in Hooper that has the names of all the people in Hooper who have served in the military, so Branden's name is on it. They began by having a parachute fly in the American flag, it was pretty cool! 

They had a few different speakers and a choir, and released doves to remember fallen soldiers

We stayed for the fireworks, I messed with my camera a bit trying some long exposures

The fireworks were so late, and Jaxen tried to stay awake, but he fell asleep right before the finale

It was a really fun day and a great dedication!

Heber Valley Camp

Branden took some leave days so we headed to Utah to spend some time with family. We spent our fist few days there at the Heber Valley campground with the Bingham family, it was really fun and nice to be in the mountains and out of the heat for a while!

Playing Outside!

Jaxen LOVES, I mean LOVES to be outside. I can't even let Kenai ouside to go potty without Jaxen having a melt down. So, we end up playing outside a few times a day. Here Jaxen is coloring with sidewalk chalk, he has popsicle in his mouth :)

 Such a cute boy!

 Kenai gets so hot being outside, I think it is because he was born in Alaska. He just does whatever he can to cool off when we are out side such as running from one shady area to another, and rolling on the grass, it is pretty funny. 

We had some visitors!

Branden's sister Chantel and her family stopped by for a visit last week, we had a lot of fun for the short period of time they were here! We had dinner, colored and stamped, went to the park, made caramel popcorn, and played with my new tablet! Jaxen had fun playing with his cousins! (I stole some of the pics from Chantel's blog) :)
