Jaxen's 4 month checkup

Jaxen had his 4 month checkup this week, and he weighed 15 pounds 9 ounces and 25.5 inches tall! Big boy! I can't for the life of me find the paper that has his other measurements and percentages, so I guess I will update that when I find it. But he is a healthy happy boy other than his sticky eyes and minor eczema.

His new thing lately is this...

which was then followed by this...

Gosh I love him : )

Happy Mother's Day!

Wow, I cannot believe I am a mom! And to such a sweet handsome little boy! I immediately became a different person when I looked into those precious little eyes, nothing in the world is as important to me as him. I am so blessed to have him as a part of my life, I didn't even know my purpose in life until he came into it. Jaxen I love you more than you will ever know.
Happy Mother's Day to all the Mom's in my life!
This year more than ever I truely know what a Mother's love is, and I thankyou for loving me that much!

Randomness

We haven't been doing a whole lot around here lately.
Branden has been working a TON. He has just been doing so much military training lately, he leaves the house around 5 AM and hasn't been getting home til 9PM...12AM....1AM....7AM....working Saturdays....and that's just with the Army. He also got a second job working for Dimond Parking in Anchorage. Ya, if you get a ticket blame him...haha! Just kidding. He only works there 1 or 2 times a week, but still he gets home at either 10PM or 2AM.
SO.....last weekend he had completely off and we took full advantage. On Friday we went to Fred Meyer, Walmart, the commisary, Red Robin, and to the movies. And then on Saturday we went to the Opera or musical, South Pacific which Branden had gotten free tickets for. (we also got to park free downtown too because of his new job) yipee.
Here we are before our date with Jaxen...and NO it was not on St. Patricks day...we just REALLY like GREEN....Just kidding, it was not planned, just a coincidence!

And while Branden has been doing all of this working....
I have been hanging out with my best little buddy Jaxen! I am so grateful that Branden works so hard that I can be a stay at home mom! Lets's just hope he gets paid for all his hard work. Who knows what will happen with this government shut down?!

 He is so sweet!

I know most of you have already seen this pic on FB, but I had to post it on my blog.
He really is just such a stud!
I love that chubby little hand gripping oh so tightly on his rattle!
and the rest of his chubby little self!
Love the lashes too!
His new thing is eating his hands, and he laughs too...I have yet to catch it on camera, but it is SO CUTE!

Anyways, we currently only have one working vehicle.....SO I'm basically STUCK at home, which isn't that big of a deal most of the time, but I DO get a little stir crazy! I can't wait for the weather to get a little warmer so I can whip out the jogging stoller and get the heck out of the house!

Fun with family

Last week Branden's family came to visit and meet Jaxen. On sunday we took them to the VFW in Egale River. This is where they feed the bald eagles in the winter. What an amazing experience it is to see all of these wild bald Eagles up so close and in the wild! There are somewhere around 80 eagles that show up each week! I have never seen anything like this in my life!

Sunday afternoon we drove to Seward and went to the sealife center.

There were a lot of cool seacreatures to see!

And the view was amazing too!

We ate at a delicious Iltallian restaurant and stayed the night in a a townhouse at the Seward military resort, it was so fun!
Best buds Jaxen and Boston

We went bowling on base a few different times while they were up here,
during the day it is only 25 cents a game!

Blake holds the record for the highest score: 211

We also went to the Alaska Zoo.
Branden couldn't go because he had overnight training a few of the days,
but we still had fun...even in the cold!

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!!
 Isn't he ADORABLE?

We were trying to get another picture of Boston and Jaxen together,
but Boston preffered to eat Jaxen instead!

We'll just pretend he is kissing him! : )

We had so much fun having family up here!
 Thanks guys for flying up!

2 month check-up

Jaxen had his 2 month check-up today, a little overdue but we had family in town so I postponed it. Anyways, he is a perfect happy healthy boy! His stats are:
Height: 24" ~75%
Weight: 12 pounds 8 ounces ~50%
Head circumference ~50%

He had to get his first set of shots which was so sad : (

But other than that he smiled and talked the whole time : )

What a ham!
