37 Weeks & Merry Christmas!

My friend Dawn took some Pregnancy/Christmas pics for us last week and they turned out so good! Below are my favorites, still a lot but there were just so many that I liked! But first I'll tell you about my doctors appointment that I had this week. I have gained 17 pounds now, and my tummy circumference is still 38 inches. The baby's Heart rate was 150, and I was still measuring small but they didn't do any extra testing, they said they would the next week, which is this tuesday. I did test positive for the strep B, so I guess that just means that I have to be on antibiotics while I am in labor, and they said they can't strip the membrane either. So, they said they would induce me at 39 weeks if I am dialated to at least a 3, if not, they won't induce me until I am, which they would let me go to 41 or 42 weeks! I hope not!

35 weeks and another baby shower!

Well I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow...CRAZY! Only 29 days left! So close, I am getting so anxious and nervous and excited and everything else in-between! But here is my 35 week belly pic/baby update, I guess better late than never! I had another appointment on Thursday, this time I gained 4 pounds since my last appointment, for a grand total of 16 pounds, I really thought I had gained more, but I guess not. My tummy circumference is 38", only 1" bigger than 32 weeks, weird. Anyways, the baby's heart rate was in the 140's again, but this time when she measured my stomach, I think it is called the fundal height, I was measuring almost a month behind. I guess at my last appointment I was measuring a week behind which isn't that big of a deal, but at almost a month behind my doctor was a little worried that the baby might not be growing as he should. So, she had me get a stress test and an ultrasound done to make sure the baby was healthy and big enough. The test results came back fine and they estimated the baby's weight to be about 5pounds 3oz, which is normal. She said he probably just has more room to spread out in my long torso!

I also had baby shower #3 this Friday!

I got a lot of good presents, many of which were diapers and wipes which we needed so bad!

 I hadn't bought any yet!

Katerina's daughter even gave me a cute little present she put together all by herself, so cute!

Thanksgiving 2010

This thanksgiving we had our friends the Davis' over. It was basically my first thanksgiving dinner I have cooked and I must say I am pretty proud of myself! Everthing turned out SO GOOD! Especially the turkey, he was just a little guy, about 7 pounds, but he turned out so juicy and good! We always have a good time with the Davis', their little boy Britton is always very entertaining, and we always have fun playing games too!

This Thanksgiving I am grateful for both of our families, all of our friends, our home, good food, heaters that keep me warm, airplanes that let me see my family, a husband who provides for me, the military who provides my husband a way to support us, but I am especially thankful for the little miracle growing inside of me!

32 Weeks & Catching up!

Well, I haven't posted for a long time, I guess I've been pretty busy and I'm home from Utah, actually I have been since last Thursday but I am just now getting around to posting everything I did down there. I had a lot of fun and wish I could have stayed longer, but what do you do.

Here is my 32 week belly pic, holy cow, I can't believe I am 32 weeks and only have 8 or less to go! I had an appointment on Monday and my total weight gain was 12 pounds, the doctor actually said I could stand to gain a little more, I'm trying! Anyways, my tummy circumference is now 37", that's 5" in 10 weeks, crazy! And the fetal heartrate was in the 140's, and everything else seems to be going good!

Anyways, on to my Utah trip, sorry there is a ton of pics!

Here is the Bingham Halloween party, we ate navajo tacos and a bunch of other good stuff and afterwards there were some games for the kids to play, it was fun!

On Halloween night I helped my little sister(brother) do his hair and makeup because he and his friends were all girls for Halloween....pretty hilarious!

and then we went to my grandpa and grandma Carter's house and ate chili and candy,

On Sunday I went to my grandpa Jones' house and we celebrated his and Jeremy's birthdays,

 he turned 78, and Jeremy turned 20!

I had 2 in one day! It was so much fun and we got a lot of cute stuff for our baby!

I also got to go to breakfast with my friend Heidi, she and her husband are stationed in Guam, and two different times now we have been in Utah at the same time, crazy! It was so good to see her!

We are both pregnant too, she is sbout a month behind me, so fun!

And lastly, here is me and my mom at the aiport...I hate saying goodbye.

But hopefully she will be able to come up here when the baby is born!

Bibs

I had some extra fabric from the crib bedding that I made so I decided to make these cute bibs! Here is a link to the tutorial if you are interested in making your own. I thought they were pretty quick and easy to make, the backs are made out of terry cloth, and I used buttons instead of snaps for the closures. Oh, I also wanted to share the to the tutorial I used to make the crib bedding, so the bumpers are Here, and the crib blanket is here. I kinda made up the crib skirt. Anyways, I really like the website I got these patterns from because not only are they free, but they have a ton of cute patterns for all kinds of things!
