Random Pics from Utah

Jaxen is now in a big boy car seat! I think he likes it a lot better,
he had definately outgrown the infant one!

We had fun staying at Grandma Jacobs house in Utah, here is Jaxen and Carter going on a wagon ride with Grandma.

Cute Cousins!
We celebrated my mom's 50th Birthday!
We ate at ABC Mandarin in Roy, Jaxen loved eating some rice!
I love my blue-eyed boy!
Jaxen started walking at about 10 months, he gets better every day!
We also celebrated cousin Carter's 2nd Birthday!
Jaxen sucking on a rubber duck like a binki :)
This boy knows how to get in trouble! He is SO busy! He just moves from one thing to the next and can destroy the whole house in seconds!

But we still love him!

New Nephew!

We had a nephew born Friday night, He is Branden's sister Chantel's first boy after two girls!
And grandchild #14 for the Bingham side of the family!
His name is Malachi Brian
7 lbs 3 oz 19.5 inches long

Congrats guys! He is adorable!
Can't wait to meet him in a couple of weeks!

Halloween Festivities

Jaxen and I have been in Utah now for a few weeks while Branden is training in Louisiana. He is going to be meeting us here on Thanksgiving day and we will be driving back our new car we got here. We only had one vehicle and needed one that got better gas mileage than the truck so we got a cheap little 4 cylinder SUV, it is a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe. We got a really good price and I really like it! It will be nice to have 2 cars again!
The day Jaxen and I flew in we had the Bingham family Halloween party. I had fun making our costumes this year, we were Gnomeo and Juliet. We carved pumpkins, had a witch hunt, ate dinner, and had carmel apples. Jaxen has so much fun with all of his cousins!

The cutest Gnome in the world!

Some of the other costumes...

The next day we went to the Hooper pumpkin walk that Branden's mom was in charge of.
Jaxen had fun swinging.

Jaxen and his pumkin

We celebrated my brother Jeremy's 21st Birthday

He is getting married next February to Morgan, she has an 18 month old son Trysten. We are excited to have them join our Family. Here is Trysten giving Jaxen a hug, he will love having another cousin on this side of the family!

We also carved pumpkins with two of my brothers and their families.
Jaxen just wanted to eat the pumkins!

Jaxen stands up ALL the time now, I really think he will be walking very soon. He has 7 teeth now, and has started waving "Hi" to everyone, it is so cute!

I think Jaxen had fun his first Halloween, we just wish daddy was here with us!

The past month

This past month we have been trying to get settled here in Colorado Springs, so here is a whole month's worth of pictures...
We stayed in the hotel on Fort Carson while trying to find a place to live. It was hard because with Jaxen in the same room as us, he didn't get very much sleep and niether did we. So we tried to find a place to live as soon as possible! After about a week of looking we finally found a place!
We moved into our new place as soon as we could and had to live there for a couple of days until our household goods arrived. Then it was unpacking for a few days straight, which was fun....NOT. But it feels good to be settled again and we really like our new place, I will post pics soon.
Here is Jaxen at the new place looking out his window on his tip toes :)

After we got settled, Branden's parents brought Kenai to us (he stayed in Utah while we were looking for a place to live). Branden had some leave they gave to him to get settled in so we were able to go and explore the area with his parents.

This place is called The Garden of the Gods, it was really pretty, and the moutain WAY far in the distance is Pikes Peak which you'll see in a second we rode a train to the very tip of it!

Here we are at the top of Pikes Peak, it felt like we were on top of the world! You can see 5 states from up there! The elevation is more than 14,000 feet!

All of us in front of the train we rode up
The view from the top of Pikes peak actually inspired the song America the Beautiful...
I can see why, it was beautiful especially at this time of year with all of the changing leaves!

The next day we checked out these cliff dwellings that are near where we live.

They were really interesting to look through,

although Jaxen disagreed :(

It was fun having Branden's parents here for their short trip, and we...I mean Branden is glad they brought Kenai to us... :)
These are pics from a little hike we went on inthe mountains.

And some of Mr. Jaxen just for fun

He is growing up just way too fast! All he wants to eat is big boy food!

and he does really well at it with his now 5 teeth! Here is the best pic I could get of tooth #5 It is his top right center tooth, in this pic it is the one on the left

Kenai enjoys it here because he live IN the house. Not my idea, but we couldn't find a place with a fenced in backyard that wasn't scary, so I guess he is in the house TEMPORARILY! : ) There is a squirrel that lives in our backyard, so everytime we let him out he chases it up the tree.

And, some more of Jaxen, he is such a busy body! He is 9 months old now, weighs 19 pounds and 9 ounces,  28.25 inches tall, and has kind of a small head. : ) He stands up on everything, eats almost anything, climbs up the whole entire flight of stairs, loves to take baths, still doesn't sleep through the night, loves to be outside, and he absolutely loves his mommy and daddy! Neither of us can leave the room without him crying.

And this Friday Jaxen and I are flying back to Utah for about a month because Branden is going to a 3 week training in Louisiana. Hopefully he will meet us in Utah for Thanksgiving!
